NMA1: Portfolio Gallery Review
Today we finished the soundtracks in GarageBand, imported them into Final Cut, and exported the first draft gallery using Quicktime Conversion > iPhone, then sent them in for a review in front of the class. It was a happy time.

Art and Copy
We viewed the document film Art & Copy. The iTunes copy reads: Art & Copy is a powerful film about advertising and inspiration. It reveals the work and wisdom of some of the most influential advertising creatives of our time, people who've profoundly impacted our culture.

NMA 2: Logo Design
Today we began the design segment of our Logo Design project.
1) We viewed 4 introduction to logo design tutorial videos from Lynda.com.
2) Students formed groups of 1 or 2 and chose a person, company, business, school department, or some other organization to design a logo.

NMA 1: Sketchup Animation 2
We reviewed importing frames from the 3D Warehouse, painting the picture area black, and we added more Design and Color Theory art work to our galleries.

NMA 2: Graphic Design Review
We completed viewing the Adobe inspired Graphic Design presentation and began the drawing tools review. We will view the tutorial 4.2 Interactive Toolbar: Brush Tool, Pencil Tool, Color Replacement Tool on Monday.
NMA1 : Portfolio Gallery
Using SketchUp, we began construction of our ePortfolio Gallery today.
1) Convert your Principles of Design Photoshop documents to .jpg.
2) Open a new SketchUp file.
3) Go to the online Google 3D Warehouse and find a picture or gallery frame and Download to model.
4) Place it in your scene, press the space bar, use the select tool, double click on the frame and paint the background of the frame black.
5) Copy and Paste the frame 6 times,
6) Import your POD images and make sure you import "Use As Image" and insert each one into a frame.

NMA 1: Sketchup Animation
Import another horizon into SketchUp as a texture an map it to a new stage, add at least 4 Scenes/Camera positions, then export as a 1280 x 720 HD movie.
